Quality, Health, Safety and Environment
We provide specialist water management services that protect water quality, improve efficiency and ensure safe, compliant water systems across your estate.
Our Approach to QHSE
At GCP FM, quality, health, safety and environmental management are not separate functions sitting alongside the work. They are how the work gets done. Every service we deliver, on every site, is shaped by the same framework: understand the risk, plan the task properly, train the people carrying it out, and measure the result.
Incidents, near misses and safety observations are reported and reviewed so that what is learned on one site is shared across the business rather than staying where it happened. We align our safe systems of work with each client’s own site rules, permit systems and operating requirements, because safety only works when it is consistent across everyone on site.
Health and Safety
Health, Wellbeing and Our People
Facilities management is delivered by people, often working alone, out of hours, or in demanding environments. Looking after their physical and mental wellbeing is part of running a safe operation, not an addition to it.
We invest in training and development so colleagues can progress, and we work to build an inclusive environment where teams are supported and know where to turn when they need help. Engaged, well-supported teams deliver better and safer outcomes for our clients.
Environmental Management
The way a building is maintained has a direct effect on the energy it consumes, the waste it produces and the resources it uses. We manage that impact deliberately: improving plant efficiency, reducing energy consumption, diverting waste from landfill and helping our clients meet their own environmental commitments.
This work sits within our wider ESG programme, which covers our environmental performance alongside our social and governance responsibilities.
Quality and Continuous Improvement
Quality in facilities management is consistency: the same standard of service on the first visit and the two-hundredth, across every site in a portfolio. We define clear service standards, audit performance against them and act on what the audits find.
Our CAFM platform gives clients real-time visibility of planned and reactive works, asset histories and compliance status, so performance can be reviewed against evidence rather than assumption. Client feedback and internal audit findings both feed the same improvement cycle.
Standards, Governance and Documentation
GCP FM is committed to meeting the standards expected of a professional facilities management provider across the UK and Ireland, and to working in line with current legislation and recognised industry good practice. Our policies and management procedures are reviewed regularly and communicated to our teams and to our supply chain.
If you would like to review our QHSE policy documentation, request evidence for a tender or pre-qualification process, or discuss the specific requirements of a site, please get in touch. Our team will provide the current documentation and answer any questions directly.
